hehe, look what bamboo managed to do with the boo radleys' "wake up, boo!" a little change of pitch here and a bit of tweaking there and voila! they've got a hit and got paid to hawk instant coffee, too.
oo nga! kainiz... kahit na gwapoh sya, kainiz pa rin. cgurong ang naging basihan ay ang pagiging kalbo ni martin carr. baketh? kalbo din naman ako ah. balang araw yung mga bandang katulad ng mga sumisikat ngayon (i won't name names) gagamit na rin ng kanta ng my bloody valentine at slowdive para sa commercial ng mga lokal na tapsilogan!!! kumakanta ka ba? ayoko na sa franz ferdinand. may lokal version na sila...
ang tindi nun kung yung commercial ng carinderia ni aling nena "a thousand stars burst open" ng pale saints. mas okay yun sa kape.
sadly, biggest frustration ko ang music. lalo na ang pagkanta.
ok lang. i'm glad to know that someone shares my opinion (read: disgust) with what's happening today. akala ko yung barangay lang namin yung lumalala. yun pala mas malala yung nangyari sa eksena. just this week, one of our neighbors played the hale album for 3 1/2 hours. how worse can it get? parepareho lang ang kanta.
i wish there was a music paper that could at least offset whatever yung imbalance between the bad and the worse. yung makakacontribute sa upliftment ng taste ng tao.
