here's what i have to say...

inspite of a very poor attendance during this month's buzz night, i still consider it quite a success... a personal one i guess. first was that the 4-piece candyaudioline line-up was really good. i had so much fun watching my own band performing that i found it not neccessary anymore to participate in the last to songs that we did. although things don't end there. we still have to work on the high pitched songs that selena find quite difficult to execute. second was that superminty is slowly coming on it's own. the songs have improved since kiel (also drummer of candyaudioline) stepped in... sunsetdrive also had a great set inspite of being just a 3 piece that night. it just goes to show that the bands are becoming more and more flexible and are able to cope with situations wherein you get to miss a band member during a gig... the first band (swim dons) was quite pleasing instrumentally but when the vocals kicks in... as for poopoovox, ewan ko ba? but the vocalist sang well that night save for the 3rd song where he went a bit too "MACHOCORE" for his own good... tether was the band of the night pero muntik na nila masira yung respeto ko when they did that nirvana thing... as for the last band whom i shall call "the failure project", ewan ko ba... attention Julius Santos (my ex-candy, minty and pillow guitarist)who is now playing guitar for that band... ano ba yan chong!!!

velvet and bad days for mary didn't show up...

to my dear candyaudioline bassist ayn... the first time i saw sunsetdrive, they immediately reminded me of early superchunk specially the guitars and the fast aggressive tempos of their songs.although mas manipis ang tunog nag superchunk and barely falset-ic? yung vox nila... being friends with me won't assure anyone a slot at buzz night. it just so happen that i like what they are doing. at tingin ko kahit paano swak sila sa buzz night...

the music industry has suffered a major loss last night when Ms. Bella Tan of Universal Records passed away at around 11:45pm due to cancer... my condolences to her family and loved ones...
