Referências: Banda de Manila, Filipinas. Indie-Rock, Shoegazer. Ecay (Vocais), Allan (Guitarra/Vocais), Dennis (Guitarra), Kel (Bateria) e Maggot (Baixo) formam a banda. O disco é repleto de canções bacanas, destacam-se 'An Empty You' (minha preferida), 'Sad Inside', 'Light A Candle', 'Wicked Glances' e 'Something Wrong' (outra preciosidade). O disco fecha com uma reverência aos mestres do MBV, a cover de 'Nothing Much To Lose'. Obscuro e obrigatório.

References: Banda Manila, Philippines. Indie-Rock, Shoegazer. After the passage of the countrymen's Sonnet LVIII, Taken By Cars, Apple Orchard and Moscow Olympics, the time came for Candyaudioline (one of the darlings of the bands nowadays Mad Love) with his great "Saved It For Torture Reference", released debut so independent (in 2002 before they had released the EP "Empty Am You"). References are in Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Pale Saints, Dinosaur Jr, and Pia Fraus Stereolab (whose song 'Jenny Ondioline', the EP of the same name in 1993, was a reference in the name of the Filipinos). Despite the references Shoegazer disc flirts with pop music (echoes of Lush) all the time, a delicious sound. Ecay (Vocals), Allan (Guitar / Vocals), Dennis (guitar), Kel (drums) and Maggot (bass) form the band. The album is full of cool songs stand out 'An Empty You' (my favorite), 'Sad Inside', 'Light A Candle', 'Wicked Glances'and 'Something Wrong' (another gem). The disc closes with a reverence for the masters of MBV, the cover of 'Nothing Much To Lose'. Obscure and compulsory.
