Complete Attendance

hello everyone...

okey na okey yung buzz night last saturday march 3... complete attendance lahat ng bands tapos nadagdagan pa ng isa...

so here it goes...

mizwa was up first... kulang cla but they still played... save for their name, okey cla... won't comment muna for the meantime, basta okey sila, very promising... next to go upstage is isolation. gustong gusto ko talaga itong bandang ito. dreamy yung tugtugan, ethereal yung tunog ng guitars pero very pinoy yung vocals (not in a bad way of course). kulang din cla that night pero ayus pa rin... my science project yung sumunod. wala yung keyboardidt nila pero okey na okey sila nung gabing yun (pwera lang yung vocals)... mas naging bida yung mga guitars kaya nagtunog pogi cla... sana nextime, pagkumpleto na cla, napag-aralan sana nila yung proper interplay between guitars and keyboards. pag nagawa na nila yun at natuto kumanta ng maayos yung singer nila, then that'll be the time na pwede na sila seryosohin... candyaudioline yung sumunod. wala si denis pero nandun naman si ralph. as usual, muka nanaman kaming malufet hehehe. ganado lahat dahil bumalik na si mavi... populardays came next. wala yung bassist nila so kel from candy played bass from them. okey din naman cla that time pwera lang dun sa new song na tinugtog nila, walang dating. ayusin nyo yung charles... more emphasis dun sa vocal melody okey?... tether followed. medyo pilay sila nun kasi wala nga si dennis... but still, their songs made them look great... this band deserves more attention... soft pillow kisses followed, sobrang nasarapan kaming tumugtog nun kaya inabuso ko na ang kapangyarihan ko and played 6 songs instead of the alotted 5 song... tingin ko pati yung mga nandun eh nasarapan din... don't deny it... dayuhan played next... i didn't get to watch them play because i had to make hatid mavi pauwi... pero according to khismet (a friend who's taste i trust most) okey daw yung bandang yun. i'll try to catch a glimpse of the next time around... skies of ember played next, medyo disappointed ako sa set nila... they're a great band kasi but i don't get it... why do they have to play cover songs... happydays followed. medyo far-out na ako by that time pero i still caught a glimpse of the group... no comment...

anyway, happy ako sa naging outcome nung buzz night nung saturday... most of the bands that played that night made me realise na there's still something to look forward to in the future... to answer a post that i recently read in our tag about scenes and eksenas...

"i don't see Buzz Night as a scene/indie scene anymore... it's just an outlet for bands and individuals who i find very interesting and worth my time..." "scenes are for those who need / want to be a part of something. i honestly believe that i'm beyond that and so is Buzz Night"
