At Last...

Hello everyone...

After days of cancelled practice sessions and inactivity, we were able to have one last night (or was it just a while ago...)... well at least we did something...

it was fun although it did drain us a bit... i guess it was for 4 hours or more... the first hour and a half was with Maraian (Soft Pillow Kisses) since Jann Paul (Soft Pillow Kisses) was not around and Charles (Soft Pillow Kisses) had to tell me at the last minute that we could not make it... We did about 8 - 9 Pillow songs in double repetitions in preparation for next Wednesday's Buzz Night...

the next hour was for Candyaudioline... we did about 7 songs just to refresh us of some of the old songs that we seldom play... it was supposed to be a longer session but our current session singer seemed to have other plans for the night... wish i could find someone more dedicated... a pity because it seems that she's improving a bit but i don't see any interest and sincerity in her... she's like going thru the motion so to speak... no heart at all... after she left, the rest of us began practicing some cover songs... i was inspired by Selena's (Ex-Candyaudioline Vox) recent multiply post with her doing acoustic renditions of a few Indie favorites of mine... we might Jam with her this coming buzz night... we'll see...

It's almost Christmas... But i can't feel it... Maybe it has something to do with the absence of cool air or the lack of Christmas lights in the streets... Or maybe i'm just a bit exhausted from the past weeks work... or maybe i'm just growing old... Alone?

Still Alive And Welll...

Hello Everyone...

Let me start my post with a classic Dennis and Maggot conversation piece... This one taken from a recent Tagbord sagutan:

gotheng: ah.. eh.. pwede ba mag audition as bassist ulet ;) he!he! coming so0n to the sari2 stores near you..

dennis: namu k... sapatos ko!!? kelangan may lagay pra tanggap k ulit...

gotheng: ay ganun. sapatusin kita gusto mo? hehe joke lang. =) sapatos na pambumbay gusto mo? yung pang genie.. hahaha bagay

hehehe...

i miss those live "asarans" between Dennis and Maggot... those two were the main reason why practice and bonding sessions where always fun and a thing to look forward to... although nowadays, kahit paano, masaya pa rin ang Practice Sessions at bonding Sessions thanks to Rene, Dennis and Kel's never ending "BASAGAN NG PURI" ng isa't isa... this, in a way has somehow help Candyaudioline survive... i can say na medyo okey na rin yung samahan namin ngayon... the practice sessions are becoming fruitful... Cuckooh's singing has improved a bit, the last two gigs we played was pleasing specially the one we did last December 1 at Saint Joseph's College... I Had it on video and i plan to post it soon at youtube...

Safe to say that we're back again on the right track... and in spite of the fact that everything is still shakey for us, at least we're all enjoying everything that is happening to us at the moment... that's something to be happy about i guess...

and another thing is that Maggot might be coming back... Hopefully...
